Oncological Surgery;

Cancer diagnosis is an area that focuses on using surgery to stage and treat cancer.
Oncological surgeons may perform palliative surgeries to help control the pain that the disease can cause, and manage the patient's symptoms and side effects of cancer, as well as surgeries to remove cancerous tissue and organs if possible, or to reduce tumor size. Whether a patient is a candidate for surgery depends on factors such as the type, size, location, grade, and stage of the tumor, as well as considerations of the patient's health, including age, physical fitness, and other medical conditions. In Oncological Surgery applications, the patient's other health indicators are examined and evaluated according to the size of the tumor, its location and whether it metastasizes, and it can be applied with open, laparoscopic or robotic surgery.
Our Surgical Oncology Polyclinic is located on the 1st floor of E block.
