How is Radioactive Iodine treatment applied?
Iodine-131 (I-131) MIBG is a radioactive substance used in the treatment of malignant neuroectodermal tumors (such as pheochromocytoma, paraganglioma, carcinoid tumors, medullary thyroid cancer, neuroblastoma). I-131 MIBG therapy is administered as an intravenous infusion.
