Emergency Medicine;
We have 4 emergency units located in the same area in our hospital.
These; General Emergency, Trauma Emergency, Pediatric Emergency and Gynecology Emergency and Pandemic Emergency.
All emergency observation rooms are designed as boxes and have all kinds of technical equipment for patient privacy and health.
Ventilation and lighting in cabins are designed separately for each cabin. Each cabin has a monitor and bedside medical gas system.
General Emergency; There are 22 observation rooms with monitors, 5 polyclinic rooms and 5 triage rooms. The unit also includes dressing and injection rooms.
Triage practice is done by general practitioners.
Trauma Emergency; There is one CPR room with monitor, one examination room with monitor, two emergency response areas and 12 boxes.
In a separate area for orthopedic procedures, the plaster room is also located in the trauma emergency unit.
Police and gendarmerie points are also located in the trauma emergency.
The CBRN area has a separate entrance and has an isolation and two washing areas.
Gynecology and Child Emergency; Due to the pandemic, the Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pediatric Emergency units serve in the general emergency. In this area, there are 11 observation rooms with monitors, 1 pediatric outpatient clinic, 1 gynecology examination room (here also has a gynecological table, radiant heater and NST designed to be used in emergency delivery situations), COVIT-19 swab collection and COVID-19 There is 1 isolation room for positive child cases.
Pandemic Emergency; Gynecology and pediatric emergency areas are reserved for the pandemic emergency unit. Currently, services are carried out in the pediatric emergency area. However, in cases where the case density increases, the gynecology emergency area is also reserved to serve as a pandemic emergency. There are 1 PCR room, 1 polyclinic room, 2 triage rooms, 2 CPR rooms and 6 observation rooms with monitors in the unit. There is also a blood collection room in the area.
In the obstetrics and gynecology emergency area, which is kept ready to be used when necessary; There are 2 observation rooms with monitors, 1 isolation room, 1 triage area, 1 examination room, 1 NST room and a baby breastfeeding room. This area is kept empty for possible patient density.
A total of 40 physicians work in our Emergency Unit and 12 of them are Emergency Medicine Specialists.
