In the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, ultrasonographic evaluations are performed as a part of the normal examination, both in the examination of various gynecological diseases, in the follow-up of pregnant patients and in the treatment of infertility.
It is important that the patients come at the appointed time for the examination of female patients. Doing a vaginal douche before the examination, using drugs such as vaginal creams and suppositories and having sexual intercourse are not recommended as they may affect the examination, examination and results. The empty bladder (urinary bag) during the examination allows you to be examined more comfortably. Apart from this, we do not recommend wearing tight clothes, as it may cause difficulties during ultrasonography and examination. At the same time, do not forget to bring all your previous films and examinations with you to show your doctor.
